How do I make a gift from my IRA?

How do I make a gift by check?
Please mail your check, payable to Michigan Tech Fund, to Michigan Tech Fund, 1400 Townsend Drive, Houghton, MI 49931. On the memo line, please include the name of the project you would like to support.
How do I make a gift of securities?

I am an employee of MTU. Can I make a gift via payroll deduction?
Michigan Tech employees can make a gift through payroll deduction by clicking here.
Do you accept matching gifts from my employer?

Do not include any punctuation marks in the telephone number field; for example the format should be 4123966048
Be sure the address information you enter matches the information associated with your credit card. PO Boxes are generally not accepted due to fraud risk.

When will my credit card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged immediately upon finalizing your gift on this site.
Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
You will receive an email receipt from the Michigan Tech Fund. If you have any questions, please call 906-487-2310 or email gift-admin@mtu.edu.
Is my contribution tax deductible?
The portion of your donation that exceeds the fair market value of any perks received is tax-deductible, as prescribed by law. The tax-deductible amount of your donation will be stated in your email receipt, but please consult with your tax advisor for more information.
