Over the last few years, Michigan Tech Women’s Soccer has proven to be resilient, competitive, and academically gifted. Coming off an outstanding 2023 fall season, they finished with an overall record of 8-5-7 and 7-2-5 in GLIAC play. The Huskies look to continue the program’s growth and success during the 2024-25 school year under newly appointed head coach Melissa Kuhar.
A third-place finish in the GLIAC regular standings as well as an at-large bid to the NCAA National Tournament for just the third time in program history highlighted the Huskies on the field success. In the classroom, the team had an average GPA of 3.66.
Michigan Tech strives to provide an outstanding college experience, adequate facilities, and excellent training so that the Women's Soccer student-athletes can compete at the highest level in the GLIAC and nationally. Most recently, the program invested in an expansive strength and conditioning program as well as individual GPS monitoring systems. In addition to stadium improvements of a new turf field and scoreboard that make everyone 'Husky Proud,' the program also recently made extensive upgrades to the Women's Soccer locker room.
Whether you are a first-time supporter or continuing to support through our giving program, you can help our Huskies compete at the highest level and earn a commanding position in the GLIAC conference and NCAA. If we can reach our goal, our program would love to invest in a state-of-the-art video analysis system as well as equipment for individual and team training sessions. Any money raised will go directly to the investment in our program’s student-athletes and their success on and off the field.
No gift is too big or too small! We are humbly asking for any financial support that you can provide to help the women's soccer program at Michigan Tech.
Thank you!
