Show your Husky pride with the support of the Michigan Tech Women's Soccer team!

Over the last few years, Michigan Tech Women's Soccer has proven to be resilient, competitive, and academically gifted. During the 2020-2021 fall season, the program overcame huge obstacles to achieve great success that has become synonymous with this program's history. The players navigated remote learning, hybrid classes, and in-person learning to raise the program's cumulative GPA to 3.67. The spring season produced multiple student-athletes earning on and off field accolades, including the Team Academic Award issued by the United Soccer Coaches Association. Overall, 23 on the squad made the Dean's List with a spring semester team GPA of 3.74. On the field, we achieved a winning season of 5-4-1 and were invited to the GLIAC Conference Tournament. During the 2021-2022 fall season, the team continued its academic dominance and competitive achievements with a cumulative team GPA of 3.71. Overall, 10 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA with 21 achieving a 3.75 GPA or higher. Five Huskies earned All-GLIAC honors and one student-athlete was awarded the prestigious Academic All American accolade. On the field, the team finished top four in the GLIAC for a second consecutive season with an overall record of 12-7 and a GLIAC record of 9-5. In addition, they returned to the GLIAC tournament for a second consecutive season.

Michigan Tech strives to provide an outstanding college experience, adequate facilities, and excellent training so that the Women's Soccer student-athletes can compete in the GLIAC, as well as nationally. Most recently, the program invested in an expansive strength and conditioning program, in addition to stadium improvements of a new turf field and scoreboard that make everyone 'Husky Proud,' as well as a much-anticipated upgrade to the Women's Soccer locker room.

Whether you are a first-time supporter or continuing to support through our giving program, you can help our Huskies compete at the highest level and earn a commanding position in the GLIAC conference and NCAA. If we can reach our goal, the program will invest in a GPS monitoring system to track individual and team workload during training sessions and competitive matches. This data has helped many high-performance sports teams ensure athletes achieve the commensurate amount of training stimulus while reducing the risk of injury to prevent overtraining. Other investment opportunities include a ball machine that serves balls to our players during individual, small group, and team technical training sessions and a video tower camera which is used by many high-performance sports teams at the collegiate and club level to record training sessions which creates more opportunities to provide feedback directly to our student-athletes to raise our competitiveness.

No gift is too big or too small! We are humbly asking for any financial support that you can provide to help the women's soccer program at Michigan Tech.

Thank you!
