About the Men's and Women's Rugby Clubs

The Men’s and Women’s Rugby Clubs at Michigan Tech are student organizations that practice and play the great sport of rugby. Both teams play regular season games throughout the Midwest and travel as far as Nashville for tournaments in the spring. They also have an annual tradition called snow rugby where they play against NMU in the snow during the Winter Carnival. The club is very welcoming to new members as they love to teach new students the sport. 

Since the organization’s establishment, both teams have accumulated a considerable amount of training equipment. It is passed on to new members as older ones graduate. Unfortunately, it is easy to lose track of and become damaged due to not having a reliable storage space. 

Donations from alumni and friends could help the Rugby Clubs find a storage solution for years to come.
