About Arnold Air Society

The Arnold Air Society (AAS) is a professional honorary service organization that advocates the support of aerospace power and develops future leaders by promoting leadership, professionalism, and patriotism among all members across the nation. The TSgt Robert E. LaMotte Squadron at MTU emphasizes service and professionalism on campus in many ways, including its annual POW/MIA 5k Bridge Run that raises funds for the Hubble VFW.

A group of cadets from the squadron at MTU recently ran and were elected for National Staff, the highest student leadership position in the organization. They are now responsible for putting our goals and objectives for the organization into practice, which will lead to thousands of verifiable volunteer hours across the nation and tremendous leadership opportunities for thousands of future leaders.

Donations will go towards paying for conclave registration fees for upcoming events. These professional development conferences enable AAS members, including 22 from MTU, to grow together in learning about how to improve society, develop professionally, and complete large-scale service projects. As the National Staff, it is especially important that the group attends to be present in the organization at MTU and across the nation while developing leadership abilities and the abilities of those around them.
