The Men's Volleyball Club at Michigan Tech is a competitive club that competes in the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference. The year begins with two or three preseason tournaments in the fall, with the main season in the spring consisting of three conference tournaments, a Midwest invitation tournament, conference championships, and the national championship tournament. Recent achievements include ranking in the top 20 for DII teams and securing ninth place against 24 DI teams.
The surge in popularity of men's volleyball across the country is mirrored in the Men's Volleyball Club's growth. The club has close to fifty people in attendance at practices—over three times more than the attendance at practices three years ago. This growth in the club has allowed them to enroll a second team in this spring's conference. Having an A and B team traveling in the spring is something unseen for this club. This addition of a second team allows them to travel with twice as many people for four of the tournaments in the spring, intending to increase the name of Michigan Tech in men's club volleyball around the Midwest.
Your contribution will fuel students' passion for the game, support growth and travel expenses for both teams, and help make a lasting impact on the men's volleyball scene at Michigan Tech.
